ABOUT RiverFront Commons: RFC originated in the best-selling novels by Dylan S Le Maire aka Dustybear the first of which appeared in early 2007 (two published that year). Shortly thereafter, the ONLINE VERSION of RFC also began to appear. They have been around ever since but the stores were not updated after March of 2015 until June of 2016 due to the health problems of Dylan. In the beginning, Dylan very much wanted to create the virtual environment that the fictional RFC aspired to. He wanted people to be able to ACTUALLY GO INTO RFC and shop as they would any other online store/mall or even a brick and mortar store. THe ONLINE VERSION of RFC IS REAL. THE STORES ARE REAL AND YOU CAN CLICK ON ANY PRODUCT DISPLAYED IN ANY OF THE RETAILER STORES, CLICK, AND CONTINUE YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN THAT RETAILER'S OWN WEBSITE. IT'S FUN, AND WILL AGAIN in the future showcase some of the writings, and special features the original RFC did online. DOES ANYONE REMEMBER "MALL OF THE FOREST"? That was the original ONLINE name (not in the novels) but time and evolution did away with that name, and within a year MOTF officially became RFC (sounds simple but that produced a LOT of work to complete the changeover). and will remain so for as long as RFC exists. RiverFront Commons is coming back bigger and stronger than ever but as LE MAIRE's. It is a huge task, updateing over 1400 retail stores, and that will take awhile so please be patient.
